Knowledge, Information and Experience

You have shades from 9h to 9b. Do you know that just be changing the intensity of your stroke you can achieve a 9b shade with a 9h pencil and vice versa. Our intentions determine the shade the pencil will generate. Use the right pencil for the right shade. Pencils create marks by physical abrasion, leaving behind a trail of solid core material that adheres to a sheet of paper or other surface. They are distinct from pens, which instead disperse a trail of liquid or gel ink that stains the light color of the paper by absorption.

Most pencil cores are made of graphite mixed with a clay binder which leaves grey or black marks that can be easily erased. Graphite pencils are used for both writing and drawing and result in durable markings: though writing is easily removable with an eraser, it is otherwise resistant to moisture, most chemicals, ultraviolet radiation, and natural aging.

The most common type of pencil casing is of thin wood, usually hexagonal in section but sometimes cylindrical, permanently bonded to the core. Similar permanent casings may be constructed of other materials such as plastic or paper.

Pencils are used for both writing and drawing and result in durable markings: though writing is easily removable with an eraser, it is otherwise resistant to moisture, most chemicals, ultraviolet radiation, and natural aging. When the conditions of working are uncertain it’s better to carry a pencil like in space or for an expedition.

The usage of pencil started with locating graphite deposits in UK and Germany initially graphite was used as lead for the pencils. During Nepoleon wars lead was not available for France and a new way of making pencils leads with graphite powder, clay, charcoal and with anything and everything that is Black lead to invention of new kind of pencils.

As a standard Practice all engineers carry a pencil so are all top decision makers of the industry. Before you start looking for a pencil we need to be a bit open minded in our thinking then is becomes easier to write with a pencil instead of writing on a stone.

Residual graphite from a pencil stick is not poisonous, and graphite is harmless if consumed. Although lead has not been used for writing since antiquity, lead poisoning from pencils was not uncommon. Until the middle of the 20th century the paint used for the outer coating could contain high concentrations of lead, and this could be ingested when the pencil was sucked or chewed. Now You know what to do?
