Knowledge, Information and Experience
The guitar is a stringed musical instrument, with a fret. (A fret is a raised element on the neck of a stringed instrument). Traditionally, this instrument is constructed from wood that usually has six or eight strings.
History of Guitar:
The guitar is an ancient and noble instrument, whose history can be traced back over 4000 years. The English word “guitar” comes from the Spanish word guitarra. Prior to that, it likely was formed from the Latin word “cithara” and an ancient Sanskrit “tar”, which meant string. Before the development of the electric guitar and the use of synthetic materials, a guitar was defined as being an instrument having a long, fretted neck, flat wooden soundboard, ribs, and a flat back, most often with in-curved sides. The term is used to refer to a number of chordophones that were developed and used across Europe, beginning in the 12th century and, later, in the Americas.
How to Hold a Guitar:
It is typically played with both hands by strumming or plucking the strings with either a Plectrum, a plastic piece (simply known as guitar pick) or with the finger/fingernails of one hand, while simultaneously fretting (pressing the strings against the frets) with the fingers of the other hand.
Whether you sit or stand while playing the guitar won’t affect your tone or technique. What can make a difference is if you’re not holding the guitar properly. Most people prefer to practice while sitting but perform publicly while standing. If you know how to properly hold the guitar while sitting, you’ll be able to pick up the techniques more quickly because you’ll be more comfortable.
The Definition of Guitar Chord
In music, a guitar chord is a set of notes played on a guitar. A chord’s notes are often played simultaneously, but they can be played sequentially in an arpeggio.
Guitar reminds you Music.
The Guitar is being used to play Rock, Jazz, Folk and in addition moderate and melody songs. The Instrument is equally Popular every corner of the world. The music played on guitar is so much jolting, alleviating and soothing as well.
Music is the only language that comes very close to silence, the only sound which is able to create the soundless.
Music is the most primordial phenomenon because it is in nature, in the breeze passing through the trees, in the birds singing — you will never find a bird being a philosopher but all birds are musicians. You go and search — you will not find a stream religious, but all streams are musical. Go and ask these winds passing through the trees — they may not have ever heard about the Bible and Koran and Gita but they know music. Music is involved in life itself. It is existential.
In the East, music has been always accepted as a spiritual phenomenon. If your music cannot create silence in the people who are listening, it is not music. If your music does not become an unmoving no-mind in the people of your audience, it is not music. It is just making noise.
