Integrating Ancient Wisdom in Modern Life: Freeing Yourself
- Once one has realised who I am is Universal-Consciousness, which is not affected by anything. Then how to be with it all the time.
- Consciousness which is unmoved will illuminate what is in our mind. Surprisingly it will illuminate only those things which one is giving importance to. I am the seer, the consciousness illuminating things in the mind without any involvement.
- If my response to others’ reaction is calm and watching others without any of my emotional turbulence, others will start realising their own reaction and will calm down. Importantly, I will be emotionally balanced. The vibrations of my peace will start reaching him. Whether others realise it or not I can grow in watchfulness. Watchfulness implies awareness, and inclusiveness implies that you don’t choose this or that; you’re inclusive, you’re choiceless.
- Unless you are a steady observer, you cannot see the changing mind. The one who stopped has known, has known the drama of the world. If you can look at the whole world as a drama you will regain your original consciousness. The dust gathers because you are so serious.
- One who is self-realised will not expect from others to change but they accept others as they are. Acceptance is out of understanding – it has no explanation. One who stopped had seen one’s own unmoving consciousness.
- Self-realisation is focusing on listening in the context of personal growth, the deep state of thinking without joy or grief and practising it.
- The self-actualized person adapts to their surroundings, themselves and others because they have no intention of possessing or controlling anyone or anything. Self-identified individuals will mould others because they are egocentric and want to control themselves and have authority over the environment and others.
- Either you are conscious of some object or you are conscious of the subject. But you cannot be conscious of both simultaneously. Because they both exist co-jointly. The moment you are beyond object you go beyond subject also. Yoga is the science of freeing yourself from subject and object boundaries, and unless you are free from these boundaries, you will fall into unbalance.
- Wise people will know that they are insignificant and egoist people will exhibit their knowledge, they feel they are significant.
- Voice of Conscience will be heard when one drops or goes beyond Instinct, Moral and Rational mind. Voice of Conscience is our charioteer.
