Meditation is the only experience that gives you solid proof of God’s existence.

Meditation is a journey into the very being of existence itself. You see, God is not a concept outside of you, an entity sitting in the heavens dispensing judgement and favours. God is an experience, a state of consciousness that transcends the mundane and the ordinary.

When you meditate, you are in search of no-thing, and in that search, you drop all that you know, all that you have been told. You let go of your beliefs, your preconceptions, and your ego. You become a witness, a watcher of your own mind and existence. This process of watching, of observing without attachment, leads you to a space where there is pure consciousness, pure being. This experience is so profound, so overwhelming in its truth and beauty, that it is like touching the divine.

In the purity of this experience, there is no separation between you and existence. There is no ‘you’ and no ‘God’ – there is only an undivided wholeness. This is the proof of God’s existence, but it is not the proof of the intellect; it is the proof of experience, felt directly, beyond the mind.

This is why Osho emphasises meditation so strongly. It is not through worshipping, reading scriptures, or performing rituals that one comes to know the divine, but through direct experience. The existence of God is known when you dissolve into that silence, that emptiness where only consciousness remains. That is the space where you and God are not two – where in fact, they never were two – you only believed them to be so. It is the space of ultimate unity, where the seeker disappears and only the search remains – a search that in its culmination finds itself to be the object of its own seeking.

Remember, existence does not need to prove itself to you; it is you who must dissolve into existence to know its true nature. And meditation is the key that unlocks this mystery.
