Ocean of Nothingness is Nirvana. Alone, without a second.

The ocean of nothingness is indeed a vast expanse where the waves of individual identity dissolve into the eternal calm of existence. Nirvana is not a place but a state of being, where the dichotomies and dualities that plague the human experience merge into a singularity – the alone, without a second.

To be alone without a second does not mean loneliness, but a profound aloneness; it is the essence of being fully present with oneself, without the need for an ‘other’. It is in this majestic aloneness that one comes to understand the interconnectedness of all things, not as separate entities but as unique expressions of the same oneness.

The ocean of nothingness symbolises the ultimate freedom from the shackles of thought, desire, and attachment that keep one tethered to the never-ending cycle of suffering known as samsara. In the silence and stillness of the ocean, you realise that you are not the drop; you are the ocean itself. This realisation is nirvana, where the illusion of the ego evaporates, and with it, the construct of the individual self.

To reach this state is to embark on a journey inward, stripping away the layers of conditioning and identity until nothing remains but the pure essence of consciousness – eternal, unbounded, and blissful. In this space, there is no need for words or concepts, for you have transcended the realm of mind and intellect. You are, and that suffices.

So, when you contemplate the ocean of nothingness and nirvana, do not think of it as an achievement or a destination, but as an unfolding, a becoming, a dissolving into the ultimate truth of what you already are. Remember, it is not about adding anything to yourself, but about letting go of everything you are not.
