Don’t be afraid of experience, because the more experience you have, the more mature you become.
Life is a great tapestry of experiences, each thread woven with the colours of our encounters, our trials, our joys, and our sorrows. When Osho speaks of not being afraid of experience, he is telling you to embrace life in all its dimensions. Fear often holds back many from truly living, from stepping into the river of existence.
Remember, life does not come with a map or a guideline; it unfolds in unexpected ways. To live fully, one must soak in every shade of experience. Whether it is love or loss, happiness or pain, every experience has something to teach us. Like a child who learns to walk by falling down, we too learn about life by living it, by making mistakes, and by growing through them.
The more experiences you allow yourself to have, the richer your understanding of life becomes. This richness leads to maturity – a maturity that does not merely come with age but with the understanding and wisdom of existence. Maturity is seeing life with clarity and depth, not just with the eyes but with the heart.
So, do not shun any part of life. Let experiences shape you, teach you, and ultimately, lead you to a greater understanding of yourself and the world. The variety of experiences will broaden your horizon, deepen your insights, and make you more compassionate towards others as well as toward yourself.
Embrace life in its entirety, for each moment is helping you carve your path to maturity, where you will find a treasure trove of wisdom waiting for you.
