Once upon a time, twins were conceived. Weeks passed and the twins developed. As their awareness grew, they laughed for joy: “Isn’t it great that we were conceived? Isn’t it great to be alive?”

Together the twins explored their worlds. When they found their mother’s cord that gave them life, they sang for joy!

“How great our mother’s love is, that she shares her own life with us!”

As weeks stretched into months, the twins noticed how much each was changing.

“What does it mean?” one asked.

“It means our stay in this world is drawing to an end,” said the other.

“But I don’t want to go,” said one. “I want to stay here always.”

“We have no choice,” said the other. “But maybe there is life after birth.”

“But how can there be? We will shed our life cord and how can life be possible without it? Besides, we have seen evidence that others were here before us, and none of them has returned to tell us there is life after birth. No, this is the end. Maybe there is no mother after all.”

“But there has to be,” protested the other. “How else did we get here?”

“How do we remain alive? Have you ever seen our mother?” said one. “Maybe she only lives in our minds. Maybe we made her up because the idea made us feel good.”

So the last days in the womb were filled with deep questioning and fear. Finally, the moment of birth arrived. When the twins had passed from their world, they opened their eyes and cried for joy – for what they saw exceeded their fondest dreams.

Transcend The Fear

It’s our story. We all are afraid of uncertainty, unknown. Why? Ask yourself. We always wants to live with familiarity.

Another thing which always we want to avoid is to deal with our fear. If we learn to deal with our fear and transcend our fear we will be as happy as the Twin.

New possibilities will always open up if we deal and transcend our fear. Look back into your own life. Whenever any new things are arriving first thing we say no to it. Why? Because new things means new way to act, we have to be alert towards ourselves. Most of the time we have avoided to be Alert Towards Ourselves.

Alert Towards Ourselves means we have to be responsible for ourselves and our circumstances. We cannot throw the responsibility for our circumstances on others. We need to respond and act we cannot be a follower.

No one gets away with anything, ever, so take responsibility for your own life.

Take charge of your own life. Don’t be a follower. Be alert towards yourself. Look into your own life when you have taken charge of yourself at that time irrespective of fear you were courageous to achieve your Goal and create your circumstances to support you to achieve your Goal.

Many times we forget our own experience. One of the reasons is our own fear of the unknown. What is required is to remind ourselves that irrespective of the fear we can move and create our circumstances to support us.

Just learn to be with the fear without any resistance. You will find that you will be able to act irrespective of fear with self-alertness.

Learning from the story Fondest Dreams: Transcend The Fear

Experience Learning

Fear is a powerful and primitive human emotion. It alerts us to the presence of danger, and it was critical in keeping our ancestors alive. Fear can be divided into two responses: biochemical and emotional. The biochemical response is universal, while the emotional response is highly individual.

Biochemical Reaction

Fear is a natural emotion and a survival mechanism. When we confront a perceived threat, our bodies respond in specific ways. Physical reactions to fear include sweating, increased heart rate, and high adrenaline levels that make us extremely alert.

This physical response is also known as the “fight or flight” response, in which your body prepares itself to either enter combat or run away. This biochemical reaction is likely an evolutionary development. It’s an automatic response that is crucial to our survival.

Emotional Response

The emotional response to fear is highly personalized. Because fear involves some of the same chemical reactions in our brains that positive emotions like happiness and excitement do, feeling fear under certain circumstances can be seen as fun, like when you watch scary movies.

Some people are adrenaline junkies, thriving on extreme sports and other fear-inducing thrill situations. Others have a negative reaction to the feeling of fear, avoiding fear-inducing situations at all costs. Although the physical reaction is the same, fear may be perceived as either positive or negative, depending on the person.

Causes of Fear

Fear is incredibly complex. Some fears may be a result of experiences or trauma, while others may represent a fear of something else entirely, such as a loss of control. Still, other fears may occur because they cause physical symptoms, such as being afraid of heights because they make you feel dizzy and sick to your stomach.

Once you know your fear you will know how to act in that moment. If it is fire in front of you you will move back you will not jump in the fire. But if it is emotional fear you will also learn to Transcend that fear and become responsible to act.
