Integrating Ancient Wisdom in Modern Life: Videh and Prakriti Layas

  1. In this session you taught us people who are practising Yoga can complete their journey of 8 steps of Sampragyat Samadhi, and arrive at Param Vairagya. But many of them cannot complete their journey. People who have completed their Journey of 8 steps of Sampragyat Samadhi, and arrived at Param Vairagya. They reach either to Videha or Prakruti Layas.
  2. One who has practised Anand Samadhi’s both the steps in Sampragyat Samadhi is called Videh. These are people who live in the body without any identification of body. They move beyond Anand, beyond Bliss. Result of this Samadhi is Silence and Stillness. For them the body is just an instrument for this unmanifested universe within us called Soul or Godliness. But still they retain the manifested impressions.
  3. One who has practised both the steps of Asmita Samadhi has reached Prakriti Layas. One who has reached Prakriti Laya has become one with nature. These are the people who feel that everything is in them and they are in everything. Noone is different, everything is the same. As they can see only Godliness in everything and in themselves. But still they retain the manifested impressions.
  4. Videh and Prakriti Layas both of them will take one more birth to burn the seed of manifested impressions – either as saint or as a re-manifestation of the gods. He will pass through all the trauma of life in gratitude. He will respond not react to any circumstance. They just witness everything and by witnessing they burn the last seed of Karma which is in their subliminal mind. In whichever form they take the birth they will help human beings to settle in their original nature.
  5. By burning the last seed of Karma from subliminal mind from this they arrived at the Asamprajnata Samadhi. Asamprajnata Samadhi is a state of consciousness that is considered to be the highest form of meditation in Yoga. It is also known as Nirbija Samadhi or Sahaja Samadhi, and is a state of pure awareness where the mind is completely still and the individual is fully immersed in the present moment.
  6. To others who have not completed their Sampragyat Samadhi take birth and complete their Sampragyat Samadhi through faith, energy, memory, concentration, and discrimination of the real. Once they complete their Sampragyat Samadhi they will follow the same route as Videh or Prakriti Layas people had followed.
  7. A Videha or a prakriti-laya: both words are beautiful. Videha means bodiless. When you attain Asamprajnata Samadhi the body is there, but you become bodiless. You are no more the body. The body becomes the abode, you are not identified.
