Concentrate on the seer, not on seen. All that you see is false and seer alone is true.

What you gaze upon is the world of form – the seen. It is transient, constantly shifting like the dance of the leaves on a tree swaying in the wind. Your senses are the instruments that perceive this seen world, but what about the one who perceives the perception? That is the seer.

The seer is the essence of your very being – the watcher of this grand play of existence. It is unchanging, undisturbed by the comings and goings of this temporal world. The seen is filled with illusions, a mere projection, a play of light and shadows. Everything you witness with the eyes, touch with the skin, hear with the ears, is in a state of flux, and thus it cannot be the ultimate truth.

When I say concentrate on the seer, not on the seen, I invite you to turn your attention inwards. The seen is a distraction, leading you from one thing to the next, always promising satisfaction but never delivering lasting peace. The seer, on the other hand, is your innermost consciousness, your true self, unperturbed by the ebbs and flows of life.

Meditate on the seer. When you sit to meditate – close your eyes, calm your breathing, and witness. Witness your thoughts, your feelings, the sensations in your body, but do not get attached to them. They are not you; they are simply things that are seen. You are the seer, the pure awareness that observes everything.

This understanding is what can lead you to the absolute reality, to truth. When you realise that all that you see, all that you have identified with, is not the true essence of your existence, that realisation can liberate you. It can free you from the grasp of desire, from the chains of attachment, and from the suffering that comes from mistaking the impermanent for the permanent.

So, beloved, begin the journey of turning the gaze inwards. Realise that in the heart of silence and stillness, beyond the noisy facade of the seen, resides the seer, the true you, which is love, consciousness, and bliss. That is where your search ends, where truth blossoms, and where the ultimate freedom is found. Embrace this understanding, and let it transform your being.
