As we all know if we take balance doses of medicine, it will cure our ailments but if we take heavy doses of medicine to heal ourselves fast, it may cause many side effects like this the fundda of our life is same.

The most difficult thing, the almost impossible thing for the mind, is to remain in the middle, to remain balanced. And to move from one thing to its opposite is the easiest. To move from one polarity to another is the nature of the mind.

Logic moves to the very extreme – life never. That’s how logic misses life. Logic has the tendency to reach to a conclusion – life is never concluding.

Life has no conclusion. It goes on and on and on without any conclusion; it is without any beginning and without any end, it is always in the middle, it is always in the present, it is an ongoing process. That’s how a logical mind becomes by and by dead; that’s how logic becomes its own downfall. Don’t conclude. Live without conclusion. That is the only way to live because only then do you live in the middle and the middle is the balance.

Life is a balance between opposites, it never comes to an end. The balance goes on and on, it is eternal. A man of understanding never comes to any conclusions, he cannot. When life itself is non-conclusive how can a wise man be conclusive? If you ask Lao Tzu for any conclusive answer he will laugh. He will say you are foolish. He lives according to life, and the most basic note, if you live according to life, is balance. Never move to one opposite, don’t cling to one polarity; then you will lose balance.

The wise knows that life depends on opposites and creates its own balance. This dynamic balance is related to the complementary nature of opposites. China’s indigenous religion, Taoism, talks of this balance in terms of yin and yang, represented graphically as two intertwining fish — one black, one white. Everything in the universe is either yin (female) or yang (male) in nature. Yin and yang breathe meaning into each other, one cannot exist without the other. You cannot talk of light without its absence or opposite, darkness. Action takes off from repose.

Just being makes you lazy and just doing makes you hyper and a workaholic. The person who uses both these polarities to attain balance in his/her life is wise.

People even balance their life by Meditation.

Meditation is not just about obtaining spiritual enlightenment, though that is a potential and profound result of a committed meditation practice. A few of the benefits that we tend to emphasize more is the expansion of awareness and our capacity to consciously and consistently choose what nourishes us rather than react from our habitual and conditioned patterns.

Meditating daily fosters a deep sense of self-awareness that offers a larger perspective about ourselves, others, life’s situations and challenges – and ultimately brings us more love, peace, happiness, freedom, creativity, and inspiration. With an increased ability to focus and direct our attention, we can balance all areas of our life, including spirituality, health, relationships, family, and work.
