Discovering Your Inner Divine Love and Light:
In contrast to your personal self, there is also an impersonal self that is with you for every moment of your existence in this lifetime. This impersonal self is NOT your intellect and body. It is the invisible intelligence that animates all of life. It is responsible for all of your deepest desires. It allows your fingernails to grow, your heart to beat, and it is the Force that supports all of life everywhere. To appreciate the presence of this Force, you must get away from the consciousness of your body and intellect, which have long held you enslaved. The work of our seminar this winter will be to discover how to feel your own connection to the Infinite Impersonal Self within and come to know and rely upon it at all times.
Most of us are so attached to our personalities that we are immune to recognizing the LIGHT that is our true essence. That which you have come to think you are you are not! Everything in nature has an animating force behind it which, as Lao Tzu explains in the Tao Te Ching, “does nothing, yet leaves nothing undone.” There is no doer that you can see or touch that opens the flowers or keeps the planets in alignment or allows you to breathe. You know that it is there, yet it is impervious to your senses and your entire personality.
Let Ankit share his experience – when I was in 7th standard to give all of you clarity regarding how we can be ourselves.
A class of mathematics was going on in a school of Seventh Standard. The chapter being discussed is Set Theory and Venn Diagram.
The subject teacher after discussing and solving some examples from the book, then turned to the exercise portion and selected the Question to be solved.
The discussion was on and the available data was written on the board by the Teacher. Then there was a pause and silence spread in the class. When all have suggested their respective solutions, the Teacher said all the solutions told were not appropriate to solve the question. Then in the silent class teacher again enquired is anybody left to suggest a solution. Then a boy (Me) reread the question and suggested my solution. The teacher tried it and the question was solved in no time thereafter.
After the class was over everybody appreciated the boy(Me) and the teacher also noticed the contribution of the boy.
From that moment onwards, the boy learnt an important lesson to revisit things or situations and try to look at the possibilities and the paths that are coming to his notice.
Just by being with ourselves and dropping of the worldview a person can contribute much better and add something good to own personality and to the world as well.
Let me end my post with this quote:
Your self-worth is determined by you. You don’t have to depend on someone telling you who you are.
