Integrating Ancient Wisdom in Modern Life: Action and Fruit of Action
- Elementary Memories are those memories which come from the five elements from which our body is made of. Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Space. These elements have a great significance in nature and human life as well. Which not only give us meaning of our life, the universe and nature but also have a lot more for us.
- The imbalance or threat to any of these elements threatens the wellbeing of humanity. We are made from these five elements but we have created distance with them. These elements are also going to take us to a trophy of success and growth if we take them as our guide.
- Water is very sensitive. Water is linked to our senses of taste, touch, sight and hearing. It has an influence on our mental balance. If we unite with the Water Element it brings stability and peace.
- Earth means ‘To Exist’. Earth is the only element linked to all five senses of taste, sound, touch, smell and sight, and thus exerts the maximum influence on us. If we unite with Earth Element in gratitude it gives us grounding and prosperity.
- Air Elements increase your creativity. Your thinking concept will be intense. The Air is vital for our survival. Our sense of sound, touch and feel are related to Air. We can unite with Air Element through the practice of Pranayam.
- Fire Element increases sharpness. The Fire element is related to our sense of sound, touch and sight. An increase in the fire element leads to love of power and rashness.
- Space Element has got universal intelligence. Sky is infinite and limitless. It is related to our sense of hearing i.e word and wordless. As the sound passes through the space so it is related to sound. We can unite with the Space Element through the sound as sound passes through Space. Our Union with the Space Element can connect our finite intelligence to Universal Intelligence. For spiritual growth the basic requirement is we get connected with the space element.
- Karmic Memories are from our Accumulated Karma – Karma means both Action and fruit of action. We receive fruits of Karma in two ways: immediate and in future. Immediate fruits we can see and relate to our logical mind. Future fruits we cannot see and relate with our logical mind. One of the accumulated karma is this birth and its circumstances called predestined; prarabdha Karma. In this birth how we respond to any circumstances that is in our hand, if we respond instead of react we can be free from that Karma. If we react we will be in a karmic cycle.
