Integrating Ancient Wisdom in Modern Life: Life Means Change
- Like the mind, five Senses, five Mahabhuta and everything that derives life from them also undergo three changes. Life means change. There is only one thing permanent, and that is change.
- Prakriti is made up of three gunas. Which is changing and changeable. Means till evolution of animals, Prakriti is changing three gunas. With the evolution of human beings, Prakriti gives responsibility to Human Beings to change means human beings become capable of changing three Gunas, if one starts an inward journey to grow in consciousness.
- Three transfigurations of the matter. 1. Dharma/Form (Distinct Quality) – Form, Name and Function; 2. Symptom – Past, Present and Future; 3. Conditions – New, Old and Broken. All matter passes through all these changes. It simply shows that everything in the universe is the presence of Prakriti in the form of matter and life in the form of Purusha. Without life change is not possible.
- The basic element remains the same, of the Matter which undergoes three transfigurations. That basic element is Prakriti. Prakriti is the cause and all the manifestation is its effect. Ultimate basic element is the organic unity of Prakriti in the form of Matter and Life in the form of Purusha, which is the uncaused cause. Which is eternal.
- Every effect has a cause. Effect is nothing but cause itself in different forms. If the effect is removed from the, cause nothing remains. Cause is beyond me, effect is within me. Cause is in the surroundings, in the situations – cause is without. Effect is me. If I can create the effect the cause will follow.
- Create the effect, become the emperor, be a magician – from this very moment, because there is no need to wait. Choose happiness – that means you are choosing the effect – and then see what happens. Choose ecstasy and see what happens. This freedom is a gift of Prakriti to Human Beings.
- Science says all living things DNA is made up of four elements called ATGC (Adenine, Thymine, Cytosine and Guanine), from which RNA and Protein is generated. Slightest change in permutation and combination create new spices. Patanjali says that from one source everything is manifested sequentially is called evolution of Prakriti and is manifested by Three Gunas. This includes all matters, five elements and five senses. When an effect changes its form, that is called evolution with a change in its structure or assimilation. Means new Form/Dharma takes place. It is sequential from rock till human beings and its play of organic unity of Life as a Prusha and Prakriti as a matter. It is a play of unmanifested, manifested and again merging into Organic Unity. Ultimate Evolution is merging into itself.
