Integrating Ancient Wisdom in Modern Life: Purusha in Prikriti
- When one who can discriminate between, the attribute of Prakriti and without the attribute of Purusha will go towards Yoga, self and one; who cannot discriminate will go towards lustful life.
- One who goes towards self he will realise his Universal-Self, Purusha. Who has body as Prikriti and Soul, Life as Purusha. Means he is a manifestation of the meeting of Prikriti and Purusha.
- We have three types of wit – Rajsik, Tamsik and Satvik. Rajsik wit is imbalanced, Tamsik wit is impure and Satvik wit is balanced.
- One has to change focus from other meanings to self meanings. Gestalt needs to be changed. With the practice of Satvik wit you can change your focus from others to self. Now you will define yourself, as you have dropped your focus from others giving you meaning and identity to you. You will be self-stirred. Life is an opportunity to create meaning. Meaning has not to be discovered: it has to be created. You will find meaning only if you create it.
- With this discriminate wisdom you will become your guide and realise that the attribute of Prikriti is Transentori, it is the vehicle for Purusha. Gratitude will arise towards Prikriti and without resistance you will dissolve as Prikriti and become Prurush, Universal Self.
- Prikriti has made sure that nothing is certain like that in real life. Each individual is a freedom, an unknown freedom. It is impossible to predict, impossible to expect. Still we try to predict and think that happiness is because of others and by achievement of a goal, in future. Be unpredictable and be ever-changing. Never stop changing and never stop being unpredictable, and only then can life be a joy. But one who can become aware of this moment, he only realises that happiness is here and now.
- One has to live in awareness and in understanding. So with discriminate wisdom the soul in the gross, Purusha in Prikriti with different attributes can dissolve in each other.
- One who has dissolved in self, will attain self-knowledge. With this self-knowledge one will become very sensitive and active in all the five senses and he can connect himself with others through mystical power.
- Goal is not to achieve mystical power on five senses but to go beyond it, transcend it. Mystical power is an obstacle for samadhi, self-knowledge. Mystical power is milestones and not destinations.
- It is not power that corrupts you, corruption you carry within yourself; power simply gives you the opportunity to do whatever you want to do. You can attain liberation or popularity, it is up to you.
