Dr. Uday Dixit has a distinguished career in mechanical engineering and mechatronics over three decades, highlighting a harmonious combination of industrial innovation and academic excellence.
He obtained his degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Roorkee, followed by postgraduate studies at IIT Kanpur. Moving from HMT Ltd. to IIT Guwahati, Dr. Dixit’s expertise covers a wide spectrum, from finite element methodologies to cutting-edge soft computing applications in manufacturing and design. His contributions have been recognised through prestigious awards like the Best Paper and Best Teacher accolades (a-kh-laydz).
