Ultimate Truth – In Gita Verse 14.11 The manifestation of the mode of goodness can be experienced when all the gates of the body are illuminated by knowledge.

Krishna proclaims that transcending worldly phenomena and realising the Ultimate Truth brightens one’s inner light, manifesting as the “Aura.” This Aura becomes a visible testament to one’s spiritual stature.

In referencing Bhagavad Gita Verse 2.16, there is the analogy that Truth is self-evident. It shines forth through the glimmer in one’s eyes, through the ethereal presence one carries, much like a lingering fragrance after one has strolled through a bountiful garden.

There was a curious inquiry about the Aura perceived around Osho’s head, described as “WHITE AND SMALL.” Why, someone asked, does it not appear coloured?

Osho replied that it indeed harbours all the hues, hence its white appearance. Just as all colours of the spectrum unite to form pure white, all paths of wisdom he has embraced converge within him. Like the multitude of water droplets in the sky working in harmony to create the magnificence of a rainbow, white is the culmination of every hue.

Therefore, he is not confined to any single tradition. His being resonates with the countless colours of all paths and wisdoms. Hence, a white aura emerges – the quintessence of inclusiveness and completion.

Through this understanding, we grasp that as we progress and transcend, our Aura evolves. It reflects our spiritual journey, ranging from the densest black, denoting the absence of light, to the radiant white, illuminating the full spectrum of existence.

The absence of colour, black, represents a void, an existential zero. It’s the nadir of energetic expression – the symbol of negativity and nihilism. Society often associates black with malevolent forces and death; mourners don black attire to signify loss.

In stark contrast, white is synonymous with totality. In many Eastern traditions, white is the emblem of renunciation, symbolising a returning of all energy back to the universe in gratitude without accumulating or withholding.

You can explore your own aura by observing your reflection. Over time, with practice, you may discern a subtle glow that offers indications of where you are on your spiritual path – be it laden with darkness or leaning into light.

Reflecting on the question posed about why his aura is not coloured, if ‘colour’ implies a singular hue, understand that his presence merges all colours, all traditions, speaking to a state of transcendence where all distinctions fall away.

The white aura represents the pinnacle of such a spiritual journey. It’s not merely an absence or a surplus – it is a holistic completeness, a promise of the highest spiritual realisation.

Krishna teaches that the path to the Ultimate Truth requires the surrender of all – spiritual experiences, esoteric knowledge, miracles. It calls for us to abandon even the quest for experience itself, for in the ultimate realisation, the experiencer and the experienced merge into one indistinguishable unity. That point of absolute stillness, where one simply is, is the highest goal. All else is but a stepping stone, to be revered for the journey it enables yet relinquished upon reaching the pinnacle.
